The Body as a House: Yoga through Metaphor

Metaphor has always been an avenue into a deeper, felt understanding of our humanity. Your body is not a pristine, pure temple. It is a house. It demands your diligence and constant care. To occupy the Body as a House is to make good use of every room. It is to your benefit to know the character of a kitchen or the difference between your attic and your basement.

The first half of this workshop will explore the organization of the house, the rooms, the doors, and their corresponding glands, elements and energies. The second half will be a nesting period where we put our concepts into practice and experience the satisfaction of using metaphor to become more conscious and perceptive in the body.

This workshop is priced on a sliding scale to support folks who would like to attend but may not have the financial means to do so. Choose an amount that feels right for you.
